Cadhay is a beautiful Elizabethan Manor House built around a central courtyard with luxurious accommodation for up to 22 people and magnificent gardens. Situated 10 miles east of Exeter and 5 miles from the sea at Sidmouth it is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday or entertaining friends or family. Alternatively you could use the house for a wedding party staying in the house with your guests. We have a license for civil weddings in the house and can arrange receptions in the garden.

The house has been occupied by the William-Powlett family since the 1920's and has recently been inherited by a furniture maker nephew, Rupert Thistlethwayte. He has restored it to its previous splendour whilst introducing modern comforts such as heating and additional bathrooms, as well as contemporary furniture of his own to complement the antique furniture.
